kbwarrior - Keyboard-Based Navigation

The kbwarrior extension is an experimental browser extension which provides an enhanced web experience by providing some simple keyboard-based navigation. The extension is available for Google Chrome, and it also works on Microsoft Edge (Windows 10 only).

Keyboard tab navigation

If you prefer tabbed browsing, you can enable the `kbwarrior` tab bar as seen in the screenshot above. By default, `kbwarrior` will only provide a simple tab bar at the top of the screen. But if you enable the tab bar, then the tab bar will appear at the top of the screen, and the `kbwarrior` will display in the tab bar. You will also be able to drag the kbwarrior to the right position.

Keyboard-based hinting

`kbwarrior` has a new feature called Hinting, which is similar to pressing the Tab key. By default, hints are displayed at the end of a page. But you can adjust the hint distance and offset. You can also configure how many hints will be displayed.

Inserting

`kbwarrior` has a new feature called Inserting, which is similar to pressing the Insert key on a computer keyboard. With this feature, you can insert characters directly from the keyboard. If you are an Emacs user, you can open and edit files in-place directly from the browser. You will also be able to adjust the hint distance and offset.

As this is an experimental browser extension, you will need to install the extension to try it. The download can be found on Chrome Store and Microsoft Store for Google Chrome, or you can download it from our website. It is compatible with Chrome and Edge.
